Melbourne’s Spring Racing Carnival brings the whole state – and whole nation – together. There aren’t too many other places where you get a holiday for a horse racing carnival! It’s everything we love about our great country.
South West Victoria has a huge link to Melbourne’s Spring Racing Carnival, wiht many notable trainers, horses, and stables coming from this magnificent part of the world. The South West region is a perfect climate to house and train horses, and with events with notable racing pedigree like “The ‘Bool’ and the Jericho Cup”, many trainers start their journeys here, before venturing to Flemington in November.
